Kusadasi - Patmos - Crete - Santorini - Aegina - Mykonos - Delos
Greek island hopping was almost always a huge part of any greece tour. A 3 day cruise brought us around Patmos, Crete, Santorini, Mykonos and the Turkish port, Kusadasi. At the end of the cruise, we embarked on our own island hopping by hopping almost straight onto another ferry to Aegina, where we spent half a day around the fishing port and visiting the Temple of Aphaia. And our greek tour was completed with a 4 night stay in Mykonos where we watched sunset after beautiful sunset in Little Venice and made a trip to nearby Delos. Delos, the place I call the island of ruins. It was almost like anyone who was someone saw the other huge buildings/monuments built by others before them and decided to leave (a big) piece of themselves on that same island.
